Finally I arrived in the city of Bratislava, Slovakia, which is one country that is a fraction of a country called Czechoslovakia, a country that is only a history and is now a land of making adult blue films. Don’t get me wrong, I know that information from the next blog, there is no insult at all. What is interesting about this city?
one word NOTHING !.
I don’t care if any Slovaks who read this blog get angry. Because of the fact, their country is very boring, it can be seen from my first impression when stepping on the city of Bratislava. Dirty city that is only famous by tourists because it is close to Vienna, Austria. In fact the city is very far from Vienna in terms of beauty and quality of city life.
In general I don’t know about the history of Slovakia because besides being foreign, there is no one who is famous in my opinion from this country, maybe Melania Trump is a famous Slovak, but I’m not sure if she is truly Slovak or not. Moreover, Melania Trump’s unfavorable reputation in America, and many indecent photos that roam the virtual universe. One that is not exemplary of course.
But one that I got my attention when it came to Slovakia, I found that the Slovaks were on average annoying, rude and not at all friendly towards Asian tourists. For example When I came to the famous supermarket “Dahlia” The cashier was very rude and seemed to be angry with me. When I want to pay for the things I buy, she looks away and seems to dislike seeing me. I do not really understand, is she menstruating so that her mood is unstable or indeed she is a racist and does not like to see Asians. I do not care!
Likewise, when I entered an Asian restaurant … yes an Asian restaurant!, where the owner is a Vietnamese and the workers are also some Asians. I felt they were paying too much attention to me and my friend at our table. Maybe they are curious, who are we and what do we do in Bratislava? I do not know. What is clear is that we are seen as strange people. It is important to realize that not many Asians or other people of color come to Bratislava even though this city is one of the cities that is frequented annually by people outside of Slovakia. But it seems that the Slovak mentality is not ready for that. What do you want to say?
Maybe I can conclude that Slovaks are more annoying than the Dutch. In terms of mentality and the way they serve people outside their community. How rude!
Enough with the person? but what about the city of Bratislava itself ?. My first impression when I stepped into bratislava is that this city seems to be neglected; a lot of parks that are not taken care of and are filled with graffities. Similarly, several important buildings are dirty and neglected.
Sorry again, another bad fact is that when night falls, the people here turn into alcohol zombies. Drunkards roam everywhere making the road around unsafe, yes, this situation is normal in other Eastern European countries hit by poverty because people are less aware of the law and their hobbies are drinking and using illegal drugs.
Well, sorry Bratislava and Slovakia, you have to get out of my list for places that must be visited. In conclusion, this city is not too valuable to visit. For the size of the City in an Eastern European Country, the prices of goods and living costs are very expensive. What a contrast to the situation and quality in Vienna. Save your money and visit the city next to it like Budapest or Vienna.
